Talent LAB — Public Expert Talk: Why We Crave Stories: Dopamine, Drama, and Mental Health in Film
Tuesday, November 4, 16:00
Katherine Dennis Gonzalez is an expert of the curriculum of the Talent LAB#2. In the course of her workshop for the five teams taking part in the curriculum she will give a public lecture.
Why We Crave Stories: Dopamine, Drama, and Mental Health in Film?
Why do cliffhangers grip us? Why does the thrill of a movie premiere fade so quickly?
This talk explains how dopamine — the brain’s anticipation chemical — shapes both the stories we love on screen and the highs and lows of life in the film industry. Audiences will leave with a fresh lens on storytelling, creativity, burnout, and balance.
