Neeltje van der Heijden (The Netherlands) and Niko Remus (Germany) are both Post-production Supervisors, having handled numerous projects of all budget sizes, and organizors of the international training program APostLab. They are experts of the curriculum of the Talent LAB#2; in the course of her workshop for the five teams taking part in the curriculum, they will give a public lecture:

Managing Post-production – focusing on budgets and schedules

Why do we need to take a new look at the way we manage post-production?
And why do we need dedicated people who understand this field to manage this process?

In this talk Neetlje van der Heijden and Niko Remus will explain how to approach projects in planning for post-production, right at the beginning of setting up the budget for the entire project. „Every project is a prototype“ is one of the most used sentences during the APostLab workshops – and this public talk will look at the process of setting up a budget and a schedule to any given project, accounting for ever evolving workflows and upcoming AI challenges.

This Public Talk will be partly in English, partly in German.
