Call for applications: EKRAN+ 2026
The European training programme for scriptwriter-directors
Are you a director or scriptwriter-director and a creative team working on your first or second feature film? Take part this creative pre-production process that will help you shape your story and define the tone and visual language of your future film: develop your script or treatment with with support from tutors; shoot and edit a scene from your project to refine your story’s tone and visual style; gain practical experience in casting, storyboarding, shooting, and editing.
This unique opportunity is available to participants from Austria, Croatia, Lithuania, Estonia and Poland.
EKRAN+ is a joint initiative by Wajda Studio and Wajda School, Poland.
EKRAN+ is based on teamwork and involves professionals from several fields. The primary target group consists of European directors or writer/directors who have realized their first feature or several shorts. In order to be accepted by EKRAN+, the creative team should be consisting of: director or writer/director; the writer or co-writer of the script (where applicable); the producer committed to the project; the director of photography.
EKRAN+ 2026 time table:
• 1st EKRAN+ 2026 session online April 20–23 2026
• 2nd EKRAN+ 2026 session at Wajda School, Warsaw June 9–17 June 2026
• 3rd EKRAN+ 2026 session online September 7–8 September 2026
Participation in the programme is free of charge! (Travel costs not included.)
