Relationship Status: Single examines the global phenomenon of online and mobile dating, ist background and its impact on society and human mating behavior. The mechanisms of the platforms and the economy of dating are questioned, and also modern forms of relationships, unrealistic expectations and the issue of human beings as a “commodity” are challenged. Does today’s oversupply of possibilities make it easier to find a partner? Or is mankind growing increasingly lonely with the help of social media?
