Frieda

Southern Germany, 1984. Frieda, a dreamy nine-year-old, discovers that her parents are hiding a dark secret: a sister she was never allowed to meet.
Amidst the tensions of the Cold War, she uses the power of imagination to fight the silence of the adults.
A film about truth, trauma, and the lost innocence of a generation — told through the eyes of a child in a time that eerily mirrors our own
