Good, successful films do not rely on clichés and stereotypical roles. However, we know from numerous studies that there is still much to be done both in front of and behind the camera to ensure that all people, regardless of gender, educational background, disability, skin colour, sexual orientation and other characteristics, have the same opportunities to express themselves or be represented in films through their own experiences.
Through our initiatives - from Gender Budgeting and Gender Incentives to Inclusion Checks and workshops - we are committed to advancing equal opportunities in the Austrian film industry.
