Der fliegende Berg

Pure Neugier ist das Motiv der Brüder LIAM und PAD für deren Trip vom irischen Horse Island zu den Hochebenen und Bergen Khams – im Westen Chinas. Für den einen endet die Reise mit dem Tod, für den anderen mit dem Wissen, noch nicht den ganzen Weg beschritten zu haben. Die Verfilmung von Christoph Ransmayrs Roman DER FLIEGENDE BERG rührt an den zentralen Fragen der menschlichen Existenz: „Woher kommen wir – wohin gehen wir?“
