Situated in the Department for Art and Culture of the Office of the Lower Austrian Regional Government, the LAFC presented Austria’s first Green Filming Guide, EVERGREEN, back in 2018, which was expanded into the innovative EVERGREEN PRISMA in 2019 with great international response: since 2020, there have been page views from over 122 countries on the associated bilingual digital platform.
The result is a unique competence center with a comprehensive green filming service – consisting of the Evergreen Prisma Academy‘s well-founded and creative educational program, transnational networking, a unique digital knowledge platform and numerous practical instruments and tools.
EVERGREEN PRISMA is regarded as the central Competence Center for GREEN FILMING, nationwide and beyond. It has already received several international awards for its innovative and forward-looking work:

The Evergreen Prisma Digital Platform shows the colorful spectrum of green filming – information with a practical focus on all aspects and concrete measures of sustainable film productions. EVERGREEN PRISMA has also been working strategically for years. Back in 2019, Evergreen Prisma established the GREEN INCENTIVE AUSTRIA working group as a solid basis for targeted, interregional synergies between Austrian film commissions and film funding institutions. In 2021, together with the ÖFI, it initiated and co-founded the VGFCA, the Association of Green Film Consultants Austria. This was followed in 2022 by the founding of GREEN CO/PRO EUROPE, an international think tank dedicated to the topic of effective, transnational green filming & funding, of which the ÖFI Green Filming Department is also a member.
EVERGREEN PRISMA LAFC is also a member of the following international associations and working groups: EUFCN, AFCI, Cine Regio Green/Cine Regio, Study Group of Eurimages, European Film Academy, AFC&F and FC GLORIA.
