Alpenland

TOP OF EUROPE will travel from the cultivated pastures of Austria to small villages like Viganella in Italy or touristic centres such as Les Trois Vallées in France on the search for inhabitants of the diverse and everchanging area of the Alps.It is going to be a very personal journey that aims to stay close to the people as well as the landscape – cultivated or natural. The film will draw a picture of a society in a region that covers eight European countries and whose topology requires special attention.
